User-Contributed Transcription as father was not able. He had another turn of blindness and headache yesterday A.M. Not so severe as sometimes, and he feels quite comfortable to day. I called at Esq. Steeles while waiting for the cars. She seemed delighted to see me, knew me at once and urged me to visit them. I saw some of my old scholars too. I fastened the horse by the trees south of the church, because the horse is a little afraid of cars, and walked to Esq Steele and the Depot.
