User-Contributed Transcription G., next week. Father and Mother think I shall need two weeks of rest, before commencing my Summer school, and I am quite willing to take them, myself - so I shall probably be at home in just one week from now, to remain two weeks. - and myself and parents, would be very happy to receive a visit from you, at that time, unless your arrangements are such that you cannot leave conveniently. We should be very glad to see you at any time, and my school will be so near home that I shall be at home every week, and oftener, when there is anything to call me. Of course, we shall not expect to see you at present if you decide to go to New Brunswick - you say I must advise you. Well, I will as well as I can. I should like to have you do just as you think will be for the best. It would be very pleasant - could you be located in New Hampshire. I have hoped it might be so, and it may be yet - but if duty seems to call you elsewhere, I shall be satisfied. You ask how I should like to live, for a time, in New Brunswick. The idea is not an unpleasant one to me. I could be happy in almost any situation, could I feel that I was useful, or doing good to any one. I think one ought to be willing to go where there seems the greatest prospect of usefulness. I believe I have identified my interests with yours, so much that in whatever situation Providence shall place you, if you are happy, I can be so too.-- --- I believe I have now but 31 regular scholars and consequently my labor in school, is not as wearisome
