If you could just drop in and spend the Sabbath, would'nt I like it? I wonder where you are now? A nice letter came to day mailed the 11 inst. {last Monday} dated "Good Intent Hotel" etc. What a curious name for a Public House. How good you are, as usual, about writing. It is such a comfort. I am very glad you are enjoying your journey so much as you seem to be. Can't help feeling glad too that you think of the Eyes you left behind, and sometimes wish they could look with you on beautiful flowers and grand mountains. How I should delight to be with you, if my place were not here - but I am ever so happy here. Lucy and I are sitting by ourselves in the sitting room, or rather she is on the lounge resting. Samuel gone to rehearsal, the little ones sleeping. This morning I rode down town with Maria almost entirely for the ride. I got some sugar plums & peppermints to carry to the children at Milo. Lucy, Maria & I are all going to carry a cap to Mother - so she will be nicely supplied. I have been packing trunks this P.M. beside taking care of Mayo, washing & ironing his sack and various items of preparation. Lizzie went
