User-Contributed Transcription My Dear Boys Milo April you can hardly imagine how much I want to see you- I have a great anxiety for you - not because I think you are very naughty boys for I often think that I have good reason to bless God that you are so much inclined to do right, but I know that children of your age are very apt to be thoughtless especially when in company with other children - now I intreat you to be on your guard and govern yourselves not let your time slip away unimproved and do not fail constantly and earnestly to seek to God for his blessing on all you do. As I do think you are good boys to learn, I regret that I cannot continue you in school - but you know you can learn at home some. I think it rather an extravagant price that I have to give for your board you will be sensible it is more than I can afford. I have pretty much concluded to send for you about the 20th of this month- and perhaps shall let you go again a while in the fall I think it probable I can get board there for you at a good place for a dollar a week which I think is enough for children your age. I trust you will try to learn all the good you can the short time you have to stay. We have quite a freshet here now though the water has not been so high as it was last May
