And I must run away and get supper now.Supper is done, and father has gone away to the study, and mother and Jenny are sewing by the table. Last evening (Thursday) we had a meeting of the Reading Circle. Friday is the regular evening for us, but we changed this week to accommodate the Whig Party of the town, who rally their forces to night in anticipation of the coming town meeting.We read last evening a sketch of Irving and of Bryant, with some specimens of their composition. The number continues to increase, and all seem as much interested as ever, in the selections.I do not know but I mentioned in my last the increased interest of our weekly religious meetings. They are not very fully attended, but those who are present, manifest much more feeling than usual, and seem determined to labor individually for the salvation of souls. They seem to feel that they have a work to do.It seems you were once almost a Methodist. Please tell me, when you have time, when it was, and where, and what prevented you from fully embracing their sentiments. There really seems to be much to admire in them, and
