I know I do not deserve so much favor for I am a sinner. But such Christ came to save.Oct. 26- Have been thinking how much happier we might be in this world than we are. Why need we be otherwise than happy? Surely we cannot be if we strive to make those about us happy. I think I shall make more effort to do this than I have done, with the help of God. "This earth is full of beauty As other worlds above And if we did our duty It might be full of love."I must learn to be more cheerful always. I will try more than ever "Almighty friend, thenceforth to Thee. A hymn of praise my life shall be. I desire also better to improve my time. Precious moment's little golden sands - let not one be wasted. How full of solemn thought is this ever vowed and ceaseless plight!
