User-Contributed Transcription April 21- This is a most lovely Sabbath evening - so heavenly calm and quiet - What an emblem is such a day, of the rest, the endlessness witness an end of the saints in heaven above. How much is there in the stillness of a pleasant sabbath evening to inspire in the mind sweet thought of that bright world above where "endless pleasures roll."Mr. Willey preached in the forenoon from 1 Timothy 4-16 In the afternoon from Psalm 118-15. Most excellent discourses both. O may this faithful servant of God be rewarded for his toils and labors for this people. O that I might do more for God. I feel that I am a sinner & a very wicked sinner against God. My heart is sad and it seems to grow no better. O my Savior encircle me in thine arms and keep me from sin and every evil - with thee I am am safe and no where else. O help me not to forget thee.May 5 - School through at G. closed yesterday. How I do wish I could feel and know that I have done some good, but perhaps this desire arises more from
