User-Contributed Transcription with cheerful [[unclear - torn...] aid "to make it as smooth as can". Let us never neglect to perform, for others, those little duties wh. contribute so much to our own happiness, and on the other hand, let us never heedlessly speak one word or do one act which will give pain to any living thing.Despise not small things, He who made this world and holds it in its sphere, even the same Almighty being,gives the little sparrow food, and watches tenderly, the tiniest flower and slightest blade of grass. The Lord of Glory could by his death redeem a world, and he could also, even in death, remember his mother & provide for her a protector. He could rise triumphant over death, and he could fold the napkin that was about his head. Then while we perform with diligence life's greater duties, let us not pass by, uncared for, little things. "For a look may work thy ruin, or a word create thy wealth".{ Good templer Nov 11, 1869}
