User-Contributed Transcription My hearts desire and prayer to God is that I may be the means of doing some good here.June 17. Mr. Davis preached in the forenoon from "Be kindly affectioned one towards another" etc. In the afternoon "First take the beam from thine own eye"etc. Excellent sermons.June 24. Mr. Moore of Milford.July 1. Mr. Davis "Ye shall be my sons and daughters, said the Lord " etc. Three persons were admitted to the church to day - a very interesting season God's work seems to be progressing here, silently. How I should delight to learn that his work was going on at D. How long, O Lord, will thou withhold thy Spirit? O send it down in rich showers and make known thy power & grace in converting many souls to Christ. Help me to feel that thy cause is worth everything else. I bless God that he has preserved the life and health of my dear parents and friends thus far
