I have lived to see another Sabbath and to enjoy its blessed privileges; but O! how now I improve them - truly my heart is deceit-ful above all things and desperately wicked. Nothing but the blood of Christ can cleanse it. God grant me a spirit of fervent prayer that I may be more devoted to his blessed service. O that I could see my sins in their true light, and repent of them in dust and ashes. I am daily adding to the dark catalogue. When shall I do my duty to my god and to my fellow beings, when will my example be what it ought, and my life be devoted to God's service.
