You will please be informed if you are not already aware of the fact, that wide plaits are just now in fashion, since you have had any bosom made. Hence, probably, the reason you observe buttons, fastenings etc. stay put better on others, than your own shirts, as they undoubtedly do on wide plaits than narrow ones. And, Charles Everett & Angella Dennett have committed matrimony! The circumstances whereof were as follows. Angella was at midnight sabbath before last as usual. Everett never goes, you know - not dressed up, excepting white gloves, which all ladies wear now-adays you know, - after meeting she was seen talking a moment with Parson Jones - then stepped into Mr. Owen's & tarried a few minutes, till Everett came in his every day dress suit with a horse & waggon, carried her to Elder Jones', took her to be his wedded wife & went over to her Father's.
