The Okra is doing finely and two plants of Mrs Page's "Martanns" are up & looking well. Mr. Moran has been here and hoed the garden fixed gravel walks etc.etc. The little rose bushes down by the fence are prospering & the Prairie rose looking beautifully, I have ripped off half the buds for the benefit of the bush. I want you here to look at things with one, though doubtless you see many things every day better worth looking at than anything here. Samuel has been to Searsport three times this week to see about his lumber. He has
