User-Contributed Transcription so many regrets that I should have been so hurried and confused & tired, to say nothing of a constant weariness, and stupidity in part resulting from it, all the while you were here, so that I could not give myself up to enjoying you and making you comfortable. You must not say you enjoyed it all and was comfortable all the while, for I know that you did not have so good a time as you might, had things been different. It will always worry me, and then it was just about so when you were here before. However, we will hope for nice, quiet times the next time you come. Well all this is'nt answering your letter. In regard to going to Dunbarton, we do want to as much as you can wish to have us, and we did think some of it a while ago, but dear little Percie will not be well enough to endure the journey this fall. You have no idea how miserable he has been and still is:[left-hand side] A few of my Cypress seeds ripened & I put them in a vase on the mantel till I found time to do them up and label
