Lizzie called and staid an hour or two. I enjoyed the day much. Maria insists than they are coming here this winter whether we consent or not. It will certainly be very pleasant if Samuel & Eliab are both away some, as they probably will be. Samuel is sending supplies into the woods preparatory to another winter's operations. We have
