User-Contributed Transcription Ellen told her never to speak of that to any one. One night she said to her, "Would'nt it be a dreadful thing of I should follow in my mother's steps?" Such things amuse Ellen so she has to come and tell me. Mrs.Harlow has just got a "box and book" Homeopathic, and is laboring to bring me over to the faith. Now if I lived at Milo, I should have no trouble at all, but could just have good careful Dr. K! How I was grieved to get no letter from Milo Saturday. Am sure I shall not be disappointed tonight. There is a social gathering at the vestry tonight - am sorry you are not here, Nettie, to go - you would enjoy it. I want to go, but don't quite like to leave Jane & Ellen, so shall not -
