User-Contributed Transcription now, I see no objection to it.I should not be surprised if he yet traded with Mr. Tebbett. He says with this business the distance would not be so great an objection as when standing about all day looking for shingles. If they do keep house, the sisters at home will break up immediately. Mallie will have "lots of things" from there of every description, to keep house with, & Mary will come and stay with her. Samuel will see the house - hay and grain are so high the expense will be great - he will not have much use for it & the labor of keeping horse, carriage & harness clean as they must be here is not a little - he says he would rather walk usually & hire a horse when necessary than to do it. This is a dear pretty creature & I hate to have it go. Mallie is asleep on the lounge, Percie taking his afternoon nap in the cradle, Isabel up stairs and the fire most out. I have written to Anna today and intend to write to Charles if I have time. I devoted the day to writing letters, that is so much of it as Percie could spare. He improves very fast, both in[left-hand side] Jane? Is she going to Almeda's? Does she want Lissie to come here? If she does, she would have to go to private school - the school she would belong is too far for her to walk. Do please write often. - And ask Almeda to also.
