User-Contributed Transcription summer, it is so far to Bangor, and to unite with this church while we stay here. Don't you think it best? Mr. Tappan's a fine man and an excellent preacher. Joseph bought his Cactus down here the other day - so I have that for company, when Samuel is gone! There is also a pretty Malta Kitty with white paws, pink nose, and an amiable countenance which belonged to our predecessors in this place, but whose bump of inhabitings is so large, she prefers to remain in her old home with strangers, rather than seek a new abode with her friends.
