User-Contributed Transcription all round the house, you know. I have another plan in my head. I want to go to Mayo very much. Have never been since a "very little girl" - I mean to Warwick & Royalston, never saw my Father's grave - Ann resolutely intends to go in the Fall. I have a notion to go with her. Samuel says I may! - and escort Mother home. Would'nt you? I may never have a better time. As for the time of the great occasion, as you call it, probably about the second or third week of May, but can of course be deferred a week or two if more convenient for you. Ann can have her vacation about that time. Charles must bestow himself to obtain some funds for Mother if she does conclude to go with you. She will need some addition to her wardrobe as well as other expenses. It would be neither right nor proper for you to furnish said funds if obtainable in any other way - especially considering that so much is already your due from here. You have debts too, for the payment of which you need to appropriate your spare funds, don't you? to say nothing of laying by a store against your "settlement in life"! When are you going to think about that, or have you begun already? With regard to our little stranger whom you seem to take so much interest in, he is a pretty puck little fellow, as Eliab says, dark blue eyes, little face, large mouth pretty well puckered up. Nose just like Charles - all the rest of him to my eye wholly and entirely Kittredgeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. By the way, the last mentioned family are leetle people. Jos. says all the brothers had one soul between them, and I say that Russel being rather craving, got the biggest piece! Mother will scold at me for writing that and I suppose 'twas wicked - but - "murder will out." To return to the subject - the little fellow goes by the name of Nimshi generally. Olive
