User-Contributed Transcription her place to the class, while she is absent. how far I shall succeed remains to be seen. you may suppose from this fact that our teachers are very few, but, you know she always found it difficult to get a teacher for her class, probably because she is so good a teacher. but you must not think I foolish enough to beleive that I can in any degree fill her place but she is only to be gone two weeks but it is time to bring my letter to an end; will you please to write to me, and when you come this way do come and see me . It gave me great pleasure to learn that you had made up your mind on the all important subject of religion you have now an unfailing source of happiness which the world cannot take away from you may you continue to the end. Adieu my dear friend and should we never meet again on earth
