User-Contributed Transcription books to read, but our tastes are not alike. I believe people in general think Tennyson perfectly exquisite. I have never read much of his except this book - I should call him Swedenborgian. What a letter I have written all out of nothing. Must get Mother to finish it, though she tries to put all the writing upon me. Good bye. Sister Lucy.If an elaborate superscription will ensure a safe arrival for this letter, you will certainly get it!You will gladly excuse my not writing much while you can get letters from Lucy frequently & she can say all I could have to say and say it so much better - we cannot but feel very anxious about you while you are there in that naughty place we fear every day that we shall hear that you are sick or worse that you will be sick and we not be informed of it do write every week but O if you should not get this neither what can be the reason that you have not had letters from us we will hope that you have before now do come away from that region soon as you can consistently it seems they are going on with the European & North Americans R.R. do lay your plans to get a chance on that when they get ready. May God bless you my dear son and keep you from all evil.
