I will say that her mother had better refuse now so as to spare the poor man's feelings. I never not much about but that he would offer himself if he could get up his courage. He is a very bashful man. I suppose he needs a good wife but should think he would find it a very difficult matter to purchase our Sarah is no part of a housekeeper and Samuel is but a man boy, and never will be a man while he lives with his Father; if they should even be such a question in any primer as who was the greatest Meddler?
