User-Contributed Transcription and continue to wrestle with him untill not one soul is left out of Christ. O Lucy I am weak and ignorant and am sometimes almost left to wish that I could cease to exist for fear that I shall not walk before God with all meekness and circumspection. Is there not something yet under which Christians ought to do to prepare the way of the Lord that he may ride forth more gloriously in the chariot of his grace? Are we anxious enough for the glory of God on conversion with the salvation of souls. Do we feel that God must dwell with us that we cannot let him go and that we will recieve even the crumbs that fall from our master's table? Dear Lucy allow me to solicit your prayers for my dear brothers - they are both of them (I have reason to think) ? with a sense of the importance religion and O that that might now come into ? of it. Ammi Carver too is particularly upon my mind. O let us pray for his unitedly - he is borne down almost in complete anguish longing for the appearance of the Saviour and let us pray that Christ may speak peace to his soul.. What a work Christians have upon their hands! What need of walking constantly with the Saviour! - The verses which you send me are very pretty indeed and very appropriate and are complete expressions of my feelings. ever your affet sister Naomi
