I am afraid your health will suffer afterwards for remaining through the hot weather, and I always thought - Isaac himself said - that one must come from there east, in order to avoid the ague. Albina is almost in a despairing state, and it is hard. I don't think she feels any worse than I should - I dare not really express an opinion because men know so much better than we women about such things, but I fear Cholera and ague for you both. I don't love to have you come away and leave Isaac alone and I don't love to have you stay! I fear it will be a much longer time then Isaac expected before he is fairly through. Albina teases Mother and I to write & urge you to come right home, but I don't know whether I ought to or not. Dr. E. Will was dreadfully incensed against the flies and "skeeters" up country - he is nervous and they made him fidgety. I would write you about
