User-Contributed Transcription I feel somewhat anxious about Joseph - tho' he has a pretty clear head and at least tolerably fair business capacities yet he has not a very retentive memory and he has to much upon him.I want you should say to him that he is exhorted to "lay aside every weight,, instead of which he is adving and adding to his load of care till he has evidently got more than he can bear - tell him 'tis wrong he'll be sick or crazy or what is worse neglect his eternal interests -d watch over him and charge him to watch over himself and have what help he needs at any rate what amount of help can ballance health or life and take care of yourself, and to write to me more. A.M.M. Sept. 8th 1847. [pencil] put Sam's letter in Office or home to him, as you please.Dear Brethren etc. Rec'd Joseph's letter last night at midnight. Charles was called as witness, some trouble between Webb and Nason - did not get home till midnight. You must not be hurried Joseph. You will be sick I am afraid. Isaac will probably send for some of his things here and I will send shirts bosoms etc. Then if he takes these shirts here you must send me more linen to make some for you, must'nt you? It seems Moses goes sooner than you expected. Mrs. Wilder died suddenly Monday a shock of numb palsy. Wilder of this town
