User-Contributed Transcription manages & prospers. I really do not think it is Almeda's duty to try her own patience overmuch, or run the risk of injuring Lizzie for the sake of having her there. I shall try to write to Jane soon. A vessel with corn and flour was sunk by the ice going out, at Hampden this week - has been towed up to Bangor. Samuel & Eliab have bought some seven hundred bushels of the damaged corn, which they hope to sell profitably, especially if the weather is such that it will dry soon. Letter from Isaac & Nettie yesterday. Nettie is better - I wish she had some help about getting ready to come - fear she is not able to make the necessary preparations alone.
