User-Contributed Transcription Milo June 21st 1845Brother Jo Why do'nt you and Eliab write to us. - I request an immediate and favourable answer to the two following inquiries as soon as consistent vis. Are you willing I should take up your order of $50. and pay you with Uncle Jacob's note to call upon him for any time you want it? & if you are not willing to do so, I must write to him immediately to pay the note at Boston at the time I am there; in that case I should only take yours till I get there, and then replace it with his payment - but if your do not want to use yours, I should prefer to let that stand. The other question is, have you transacted that business about me a school room, and if so what is the result? I want you to write soon, and relate some of the daily occurrences of your life and Eliab's too: W. B. is just as happy as can be, and makes very little trouble, rides Pate? who has got a female nobby etc.etc.etc. Drop the enclosed letter in the mail. buy some blue cotton yarn and some white 1/2 lb each and carry to Lucy to knit you & E. some summer stocking to wear with shoes and save boots.
