Percie was quite ill two or three days last week - we were up with him considerable two nights - the first time since he was a week old. When six months old he weighed as much as little Mary at a year old - Samuel weighted her when at Milo a few days since. Mother has gone to Brownville this week - is coming here after making Almeda a good visit. She has been really sick lately, though she called it only a bad cold - perhaps she has written to you - she seemed rather low-spirited when she wrote last. Eliab & Malli have been here a little more than a fortnight - They seem to enjoy life finely - For your especial consolation, Isaac, I will just mention that Eliab holds Mallie in his cap & kisses her with great apparent gusto!
