User-Contributed Transcription in such matters you know. With regard to Angella & Everett you can answer your queries as well as I probably. I have told you than Angella & I have no concord - I don't know why I don't understand her, nor she me, I suppose. Our tastes, sentiments, feelings, were never in unison I hardly know how to answer all your questions. We expect to move to Bangor in five or six weeks. Do not know here we shall live. Have not decided on a house. Moses & Martha live at the Iron Mountain. He has taken a great contract . I don't know - Sam'l will tell you. Col. Lee lives in the old place yet. Has sold it to old "brother Bumps" of Brownville, who lives there and is to take care of Mr. & Mrs. Lee. I don't know the bargain exactly, but people think the Col. has got "bit." He and Mrs. Lee went to Calais last Summer. Mrs. Lee was quite sick at Bukesport on her return. Some naughty persons stole all his nice apples & pears during his absence, which did trouble the poor old gentleman much - he being in his dotage, you know, and setting a great store by his nice fruit. 'Tis too bad - Very thievish, ill-disposed persons are harbored in Milo. Do you know of Elijah Severance's death? Drowned himself in a small spring or puddle near his house. No cause known. Was recovering from a fever. No previous appearance of insanity - slipped out doors on a dark rainy night during a few moments absence of his watchers - place so small could only get his head & shoulders in - Immediate search was made soon as he was missed - found him in forty minutes. Dreadful, isnt it? Albina was down week before last. She grows old! How I want to see little Charlie! Don't you? & Mother too, and all the children. Albina says Mother
