But I trust & have given my heart to Christ and desire and interest in your prayer that I may so live that when the messenger of death shall overtake me I may be prepared to meet it with a peaceful smile and resign my soul into the hands of Him who has died to redeem us by his own blood. I cannot close this without telling you of the happy meeting with my dear brother who had been abroad nearly five years he made a very short visit and left with Mr. Tash who accompanied him as far as Boston, but I will write no more lest you should be unable to read it so I close begging you not to follow the example I have left you? but write soon.
