Jane is here yet thoughtless, heedless as ever - seems light-hearted & happy & laughing & "carrying on"with Ellen. Ellen is very womanly - just right with her. We have not heard from N.H. yet. Wonder how the Manchester strike will affect other factories. They are having a great time there. I am confidently expecting a letter from Milo tonight. We had long letters from Olive and Sarah yesterday. Olive has been sick a good while - premature confinement -five or six months advanced so far from well now. She wrote an unusually long letter - send love to Mother, Chas. & Albina - wished they would write to her, has often thought of writing to them - but three little children, the oldest sickly, large farm & dairy, workmen, boarders
