User-Contributed Transcription day afternoon. "Sister Hattie" has been sick ever since she got home - quite discouraged about herself. Mrs. Griffith can only stay till next month, & I want to find a good girl as soon as I can. Won't you find out, if convenient, what about the color girls? I shall try for Frances if I go to Milo next week. I am ready to fly to see you all -wish we were going tomorrow - don't fail to write your conclusions and whether I shall get Mother's gingham to bring with me - we shall stay only two or three days, Do not hear yet from Isaac. Don't forget to write in your next if you have had letters lately - our last was dated the 13th of June. Dr. McRuen says there is no hope for Margaret -says the left lung is entirely gone - that she has kept up so long, she will probably sink rapidly. We shall try to ride down there tomorrow morning. Her poor father & Mother, I don't know what I can say to them. Samuel has just weighed Percie- eleven weeks old last night - weighs almost fifteen pounds. Ir. Me. called the other day - he says if we both keep on growing we shall be good large folks by and by. I want to write to Almeda & to Isaac but don't get any time - and my head & eyes trouble me a good deal - my head had ached almost all the time since I came down stairs - is very sensitive to cold. The Dr. has prepared some pills
