I suppose you have heard of Jacob Curtis' death he was perfectly resigned died a very joyful death. ? seems very lonely, and I have something to tell you which will make your heart rejoice Hati Wheeler has at last yielded her heart to Christ and is rejoicing in hope I feel that this new trophy should encourage us her nature is so compulsive? I think she will be active and her influence be felt by many I had almost forgotten to say that I spent the former part of this evening at Mr. Parker's had a very pleasant interview with the Rev. Mr. Wiilliams whom I found there I informed him of your brothers death which surprised him very much he desired to know the particulars said "that young man was a model of patience" You cannot think what a comfort your letter was to us. I have read it over and over again and hope to receive another good long one soon if your health permits which by the way I hope is nearly recovered Mother sends an unbounded share of love to you and sympathy says you must come down very soon it seems so desolate to look at your house and know you are not there. Our family all send their respects to your family including your husband, it is now nearly 12 oclock Mrs. Goddard wished me to give her love to you and wished you would write to her.
