User-Contributed Transcription recovering from their fright somewhat. Had it in two or three families at Brownville village. I had a very good visit at Bangor, considering how short it was. said only three days! A neat little white cot. at Hampden which mother said she told you about, painted & papered pretty front yard, garden & pasture etc. My chief object - writing this is to find out when you can most conveniently come home. I do want you to come, but still would not wish it certainly if it will injure you in your business. Ann wants to know when if you can come, so as to arrange her vacation. Jos. & Eliab can probably come one time as well as another. To your convenience is to decide the time. Last of Apr. or first of May we think, if as convenient for all. Will you please to write soon as convenient what you think you can do about it. I have nothing more to say now I believe & no time to say it if I had - so good night and good bye, ever affectionately sister Lucy.Fitch's Lectures - sent me by your order I believe, I like much and thank you greatly. His shoulder braces I am very much pleased with, and if I had means, would certainly have a pair. His remarks on bathing, friction, correctness of position etc. are good. I shall endeavor to profit by them. _____Feb. 21st 48 Miss L.H. MetcalfNorthfield Milo Feb. 13th 1848
