Eliab brought Isaac down Friday eve, with his own i.e. Brown's horse. We had a nice time. had breakfast early enough next morn, to allow us half an hour's time after prayers before the stage came at 1 1/2. E. had to return in the eve because Wm. Brown could not stay alone with a boy 16. two Irish women and Mary. Lucy sits up neatly half the day , goes out to meals, knits, is comfortable and smart, except her weak back, she cannot walk across the room, - Samuel is ready to take her to Milo; - he may be obliged to go into the woods in a week, - will probably go, and come out once or twice before L. will be able to endure the ride; and by the way, she cannot be comfortable at Milo a single day, until you have a good and comfortable lounge, with sacking bottom or cords: Without doubt
