Mary is going home to stay some time - probably preparing to be married. Samuel has gone to Hampden, Sis trimming her bonnet & Nea getting supper. I think our pickles the best I ever tasted - hard as a green cucumber.Saturday Eve I think that I shall keep the cow this summer if I can get them pastured as I expect.- If Ch's has one to sell he better send them both down in about ten days, get some boy to drive them and I will sell his for him if he does not wish to come down.Nothing yet certain with regard to business this season.Sabbath noon. Eliab is here - says he is perfectly well -looks as well as I have seen him for a long time. I do miss my dear Mother very much. I feel anxious to hear about her cold - am afraid she took more standing out by the carraige, I hope you will get the wool picked and all your matters attended to before many weeks so as to come down here. S.C. Thurston has gone to Carlostine Jewett's to board. Hannah Moore has got homesick at Wisconsin - has returned to N.Y. Her brother at California died a short time since. Isaac, I shall depend upon your coming to stay a nice while with me - you never did make me much of a visit. I should think, too, you had rather be here some. so as to know what is going on. I must finish this to send to the office when the folks go to meeting. Do please all write often. Cannot Charles & Albina ever squeese out a letter to me? Affectionately Lucy.
