User-Contributed Transcription entirely with two little powders, have'nt had a bit of ache since! Mrs. Hopkins live at Elyria. I presume Anne has written you from Elyria before now. Little Mr. Percie enjoys riding exceedingly - unlike his sucker cousin, he never thinks of closing his eyes, unless he rides a great distance - just as wide open as can be from here to Mr. Crosby's, four miles. His father says, tell' em he can beat the sucker cousin at anything he has a mind to undertake - he has just been asking him to make his mark! I can't tell the cause of my head pain - both physicians though it of a nervous character the same irritation which has been in my system, only in a different form & aggravated by nursing. I feared one while I should have to wean the baby. We have had some excessively hot weather lately. I think it is enough to make one's head ache pretty hard to think about training up a baby. In great haste - Samuel waiting - much love and many kisses for wife and baby.Lucy.
