User-Contributed Transcription Sessions from Spring field - This evening we did not go out but finished Silas Mariner -

Wednesday  Apr. 1 Beautiful day - Went out to call on Mrs. Judson Senith, at 2683 Washington St. & had there a very pleasant hour. Dinner at the Casino. Temperance Coffee House on Washington St. Miss Howes & I bought some Encre Or and made some Easter Cards. Anna went to the Station to see Miss Ayres, and wandered much before she reached here in safety at 6:30 - we having been somewhat worried about her - In the evening we went to the Salvation Army meeting at teh Windsor Theatre with Alice Robeson and Miss Houston. I went to the Church of the Advent to Evening Prayer, at 5 - with Miss Turner - a very high churchwoman with whom I struck up an acquaintance at the breakfast table. She is pretty - especially her coloring -
