User-Contributed Transcription Sat. 14. Letter from Irving - one from Annie - and postal from Mrs. Waters. Examination at 10:55. other classes as usual. We had valentines at table tonight - but I was, by some chance, omitted - I had to write one to Annie Stephens - Swept and dusted my room - sewed some on my 10 x 1 work - did a little meandering - made out Bible topics & corrected examination papers.

Sunday Feb. 15. Went to church and Sunday School in the village. Mr Cornan exchanged with Rev. Jonathan Edmonds today - I taught the class of little boys that Anna Johnson used to have. Had a long and serious talk with Miss Eaton about my plans and prospects - Section meeting in Edith Wilkinson's room, led by Bessie Severance, was unusually good - I went to see Bessie Severance for a few minutes, then to Miss Darling's room. Miss Gelston was there too - I found that Miss Darling is cousin to Edith and Bessie Darling in in Elyria - only eight at table today.

{in margin:] Solomon John led chapel this evening - for the first time -
