Tuesday 19 Very warm. letter from Ethel. Faculty meeting. Bible lesson on Solomon. Went to village with Miss Howes to take my shoe to the cobbler - then went to see Miss Cooley - sent letter to John.

Wednesday May 20 Warm, but cloudy and gray -all day. Examination at 10:55. Taught Elizabeth Eliza's class at 11;45 - class at 3:10. Went to hear Mr. Hardy's lecture, on Greek Art, at 4:00 - Prayermeeting this evening - after which I went to Solomon John's room and had quite a talk with her. Wrote inviting Mr. Morse here for Saturday - floatday - Letter from home. Took off flannels.

Thurs. 21 Revised Old Testament published in U.S. today. clear and rather cool. Examination at 2:20. NH3 exeriments at
