User-Contributed Transcription came, & stopped over one train - We left Worcester at 4:20, in different sleeping cars. Went to bed rather early & moved afterwards, to take berth over a lady at Albany.

Tues. 22 Commencement Day at W.D. Had a first class breakfast in the Dining Car - Morning much enlisted by the Morom children, Philip, Howard, Edith and Ralph - did not have the courage to introduce myself properly to Rev. P.S. and wife. Mr. Frank Van Cleef in same car, and very pleasantly and confidingly - Home about noon. Pater, Net & Hal at station. Unpacked some after dinner.

Wed. 23 Hal's Commencement Day E.H.S. Mary, Wilder, Harl & Ethel all came home to see and hear - also Mr. Root. We filled a long row of seats at the Opera House & were proud of the small Harry in his oration & his song. Lizzie DeWitt went
