Monday Mar. 1 Came in like a lion. Very cold and windy. Went to Boston at 8 with Miss Andrews to Cooking School on Tennyson St. - to Japanese Village, and to Joseph Cook's Prelude and Questions - did a little shopping and came out at 2:15. Letter from Annie with a brief one from Pater. Began letter to Ethel. Prepared report on [[?Remsius']] Chemistry. Concert this evening by the Philomela Quartette (ladies) from Boston - went not I.

Tues. 2 Weather unabated - Qual. Class omitted - studied her at S.H. all the morning. Did not go to dinner, to prayermeeting (wh. Miss Cooley led) nor to faculty meeting this evening. Had some trouble about the Sun & Moon standing still - in Bible class.
