Packed trunk, taught Qual. class. Started for house at 2:16 - Waited in
Worcester for the 3 o' clock express with M. Marsh. We went uptown for a few minutes. Quite an eventful journey. Sat & talked with cousin Lucy Pond fr. Westboro' to Worcester - saw Jennie Putnam at Worcester- found Mr & Mrs Waters & Carrie on train after leaving Worcester. Lasell girls and Yale boys enlivened the evening on the sleeper.
Wed 23
Reached home about 3. P.M train 3 hrs late - surprised people completely
met Mrs. Ely at Cleveland & talked with her all the way to Elyria. Home people making candy for S.S
Thursday 24
S.S Christmas Service in evening I went with John & sat between Irv and
Edith - called on Aunt Anna in afternoon. Annnie Rich here for the night.
Friday 25 Christmas Day
Mr Root here made some candy from confectioner's sugar & ate it.
