User-Contributed Transcription span - Nettie went with Mr. Root to spend Sunday & Monday on the Lake Shore. Did Chemistry experiments for the children in the evening. Succeeded in putting Bunny to bed.

Sunday Aug. 30 Went to church, Young People's Meeting & evening service - Mr. Williams preached morning & evening. Test in A.M. John 3:25 & 30. Evening - Character of David - I led Young People's Meeting. Subject: "Am I my brother's keeper?" George Rich walked home with me after the evening service.

Monday Aug. 31 Rain in afternoon - went to see Flor and LIzzie Bowen - went to I.O.G.J. Wrote note to Lilla Davidson - Ella came this morning - corn fritters for dinner -

Tues. Sept. 1 Lilla Davidson's wedding day. Went to Oberlin with Zephyr, Notus, Irv, Frank, little Kate Ely - went to see Clo McDowell. Took tea at Aunt Anna's with Annie & Irv. Flow could not leave her mother. Mended gloves.
