Wed. 3 Cold & cloudy - Classes as usual. Took dinner with Miss Freeman and Miss Whiting, with the alumnae of this Faculty and Dana Hall. We had a good time - went to prayermeeting thereafter. Maud Stowe came to my room later in evening. Sent brief letter to Mr. Root.

Thurs. 4 Cold, windy & gray - very uncomfortable weather - Worked at Quant. Exp. most of day, after 9 o'clock in P.M. Prayermeeting at College on Methods of Bible Reading.

Fri. 5 Still cold & windy, but sunshiny - Prepared written lesson for Qual. Anal and Bible Class. then spent the day in bed. Read Elsie Verner, Christian Union & other things. Made chem. examination questions for tomorrow, and Bible topics. Marion Marsh came down to see me in P.M.

Sat. 6 Staid in bed until about halfpast eight, and on the bed most of A.M. In P.M. went to College, did some Quant. Work - read paper
