good time thereat- Rev. Harry A. Met-
-calf was there and was very agreeable.
Studied Chemistry and Quantitative
this evening while there was a Piano
Concert in the chapel-
Tues. 27. Classes as usual. Geography lesson
in Bible. Went to walk with Miss
Whiting and Miss Sumack. called
on Miss Wetherbee and Miss Worusreley
between dinner + silent time-
Wed. 28 Classes. Went to walk with Edith
Wilkinson- had lemon ice in evening
with Misses Knox, Aumack, Marsh, Dar-
-ling, Roberts + Grace Marsh- Went
to prayer meeting + teachers' prayer-
-meeting- Letter from Mr. Root.
Thurs. 29 Day of Prayer for Colleges- Dr
Meredith preached in the morning and
conversed in the afternoon. Miss
Talcott, of Kobe, Japan, and Miss Proctor
of Kessab, Turkey- spoke at the pray-
-ermeeting this evening- Went to see
