Vernon St, where I found Mrs Waters & Carried and had a pleasant visit - went to Joseph Cook's lecture, with them & Miss Darling & Miss Marsh - Saw there Mrs Hill, Mr. Root & Mr. A.G. Mose - After it we rushed for our dinner & out on the 2:15 train - Worked on examination papers all the rest of the afternoon - Concert in the evening by the [[?Philornela]] Quartette - wrote letter to Annie -

Tuesday Feb 17 Letter from Pater +c - Classes as usual - considered Deborah in Bible Class - went to village with Miss Howes & found a boarding place for Anna Rich at Mrs. Russell's - Faculty Meeting this evening - Lottie, Miss Knox +c went to the Dickens Carnival in Boston.

Wed. 18 Snowstorm, succeeded by clear, beautiful weather - Classes as usual - SO2 experiments at 1:30 - Received order of Lenten Service from Rev. Henry Metcalf - sent invitations to the Reception
