User-Contributed Transcription beanbag game. Went after beans. Letter from Pater - also from Ethel - Bible Reading this evening, led by MIss Emerson.
Fri. 31 Edith arrived at 10:30. Went to station to meet her. carried chair to cobbler to have a leg taken out & he game me 3 porter apples to pay for it. We 80's went with Edith to dinner at the guest table. Letter from Mrs. Watson in Chelsea. I left with Edith in the Minister's Room.
Sat. Oct. 2 Prof Niles lectured at 10:55, so no quiz - went with Edith to dinner at Waban Cottage - then to call on Miss Horton - visited Marion Marsh's class at 3:10 & for a little at 9.
Sunday Oct. 3 Took breakfast at my own table, Edith being at Stone Hall with Katherine - dinner at S.H. at Miss Hallowell's table. supper at Switson Cottage - Dr. Breed of Philadelphia preached - Communion Service - Rev. Arthur Smith of North China spoke in the evening.
