Thurs. 9 Beautiful clear mild weather. Henry M. Stanley lectured in Boston this evening. Letter from Annie 7 one from Mrs. Seymore - M. Marsh & I went down to the Industrial Sale at the Town Hall. To supper. Came back about 8 o'clock.
Friday 10 Another fine day. Wrote to Annie & to Uncle George - sent Gold Ink to Edith - studied [[?Ferri & Ferro Cyams]] - etc - Head Meeting this evening, brief - Miss Freeman & Miss Hallowell have gone to Dr. Lear's Funeral -
Sat. 11 Geology class as usual - went to bed thereafter - Made questions for Geog. Examinations, Phys. & Mod - Read some in Harper's.
Sun. 12 Did not get up to breakfast - nor to church - went to 5 o'clock prayer meeting, supper & chapel. Rev. Mr. Howes, father of the Howe's girls here, preached today.
