Monday May 31 Observed as Memorial Day - Went with M.Marsh to Nantasket, taking 11:07 train to Boston - a delightful voyage-, but no dinner, except crackers and bananas, until 5:30 in Boston. Came out at 5:55. Letter from Annie.

Tues. June 1 Wrote to Annie. Faculty meeting in evening. Bible lesson on Psalms.

Wed. 2 Lovely weather - letter from Pater. Wrote home - Lecture at 4 on Tonie Sol Fa Systmes by Prof. Seward.
Prayermeeting in evening -
Pres. Cleveland's Wedding Day - 7 P.M. at the White House.

Thurs. 3 Cloudy & cool - Letter from Irv. Flo's baby girl arrived Sunday morning & weighs 9 pounds - all doing well - Christian Ass. meeting to consider amendments & bylaws. Went to village after dinner - Geology as usual on Thursdays.

Friday 4 The great day of the Library Festival - perfect weather, cool and beautiful after yesterday's rain. A great success to all appearance. Prof. & Mrs. Smith were here -
