User-Contributed Transcription Sat. 9 Lovely autumn weather - quite warm. Mr. Safford and Mrs. Watson came out in afternoon & took Miss Ridman and me to ride. From 2:30 to 5:30 - over to the Hills in West Dedham, back through Dedham and Needham - a delightful afternoon. Swept & dusted room. Mended stocking in Miss Howe's room in evening - Looked over some new Chem Library books.
Sun. 10 Another lovely day. Very warm. Episcopal Service here. Went to church & S.S. in village. Rev. Geo. Reid preached. Miss Howes and I went to Young Peoples' Meeting in evening. Read & studied the Bible in afternoon. Florence Marsh & Marion Benett came up.
Mon. 11 Fine weather still warm & dusty. The Faculty went to Norumbega, on Prof Honford's invitation. Tramped around there - ate lunch - dinner over to his home in Cambridge, stopping on the way to see the
